This is the WW2 American EAME Campaign medal, (standing for Europe, Africa, Middle East), complete with pin-back ribbon bar, in original  box of issue, and still with the protective tissue paper. This set is in beautiful mint condition, obtained in the USA from a veteran of WW2. Instituted in 1942, the EAME medal was awarded to all military personnel who served in any one of these theatres of operation for any period between December 1941 and March 1945. For multiple theatres, additional 'battle stars' were awarded to be attached to the ribbon.
