World War 2 bayonets and Knives
|
This is the Spanish made Machete Bayoneta Modelo 1941 that was fitted to the 8mm Mauser M1943 short rifle. As a replacement for the early M1907 Artillery bayonet, it retained the large blade and heavy crossguard for the cutting of vegetation as would be necessary for the siting and camourflaging of artillery pieces, but in practise it was not very effective for this purpose. This particular example is in very good condition with clean undamaged blade, and excellent wooden grips, and come complete with the adapter for fitting to the Spanish Mauser M43 rifle. Very good scabbard retaining all it's original blacked finish. Our Price: £85.00 |
