Post World War 2 bayonets and Knives
This is a brown leather bayonet frog used by South African forces in the late 1950s and early 1960's for their No9 and FN-FAL M-1 assault rifle bayonets, especially shaped to allow for the flash hider prongs on the bayonet crossguard. In excellent used condition with tight stitching and rivets, this frog is unmarked except for 43 stamped on the front.
