Post-War German Lafette tripod and optics for MG53 machine-gun

This is a West German built Lafette tripod designed for the Yugoslavian built MG53 machine gun, built under license after WW2. The MG53 is nearly identical to the MG42 used by the German Army in WW2, chambering the same 7.92 x 57mm round. This tripod comes complete with Hensoldt Wetzlar sights that stow in an integral box, and shoulder straps. In generally good used condition, with some light rust in places, but everything works. Good clear optics on the sights but the focussing ring is quite tight. The MG53 is not included in the price but is available separately and is shown for illustrative purposes only.
