World War 2 bayonets and Knives
This is a M/938 bayonet, which was a modified M1904 sword bayonet originally made by Simson & Co of Suhl, Germany, supplied to Portugal for the Mauser-Vergueiro M1904 rifle before WW1. Portugal was supplied with MP34s during WW2 by Austria, and to save money they converted their own bayonets to fit. This example is in very good condition, near perfect blade with excellent edge and point, good wooden grips, release button, and good blacking to the serial numbered pommel and cross-guard. The scabbard is in very condition, super blacked finish, no corrosion or dents. Super untouched bayonet for your MP34 or Portuguese M/938 or M/942 smg.
