Portuguese M1904 bayonet and scabbard SOLD

This is a M1904 sword bayonet, made by Simson & Co of Suhl, Germany, for the Mauser-Vergueiro M1904 rifle made under contract by DWM for the Portuguese Army. It also fitted the M1904/39 rifle. Only 75,000 were made and this example is in very good condition, near perfect blade with excellent edge and point, good wooden grips, release button, and lightly worn blacking to the C-series serial numbered pommel and cross-guard. The scabbard has a similar finish to the steel, no corrosion, but a couple of very minor dents. Super untouched bayonet for your Portuguese M1904 rifle.
