This is a Pattern 1937 webbing map case, complete with the original red, black and white markers designed to write on the clear plastic cover, and the pencil is marked '2B War Drawing' on it's side. It still has a 1944 dated map, printed by the War Department, of Castiglione del Lago in Central Italy under the clear cover. In excellent condition, marked W&G Ltd, and dated 1944, with all fittings functioning though a bit stiff, and carry strap. An unusual piece of web equipment still as it was when in service.
