Pattern 1937 jungle green canvas map case, dated 1945
This is a Pattern 1937 canvas map case in jungle green, presumably made for the jungle campaign in the east, as it has a label instructing the user to keep mosquito repellent off of the celluloid screen. In very good unused condition, marked D&G Ltd, and dated 1945, with all poppers in perfect condition. No carrying strap, but there are two eyelets provided for attaching one. An unusual piece of late war equipment.
