World War 1 bayonets
This is a scabbard for the Pattern 1907 bayonet, which would have been used with the Lee-Enfield rifle no1 mk3 or 3*, better known as the SMLE. This particular example is Australian issue, with the characteristic smaller round frog-stud. Stamped on the lip of the throat with what looks like 3MD (Military District) and a serial number. Some movement in the throat and a dent in the chape, both nicely blacked, otherwise a good sound scabbard.
Our Price: £55.00
