World War 2 bayonets and Knives
This is the model 1884/98 III bayonet for the WW2 German Mauser K98 infantry rifle. Marked 41cqh for Clemen & Jung of Solingen, and 9501d on the ricassos, this bayonet is in good sound condition. The blade has a very good edge and slightly dulled point with a lot of it's original blacked finish, similar to the Waffenamt stamped pommel, crossguard and flashguard. Good backolite grips and release button. Good sound scabbard, most of blacked finish remaining, one small dent on edge, Waffenamt stamped on the finial. Marked the same 41 cqh and matching serial number, fitted into a sound but a little fragile original leather frog with just one bit of loose stitching and one missing rivet, clearly maker marked and dated KVZ 43 to the rear. A great addition to any K98 rifle.
