World War 2 bayonets and Knives
This is the model 1884/98 III bayonet for the WW2 German Mauser K98 infantry rifle. Unmarked on the ricasso with no serial number or Waffenamt stamps, so most likely one destined for export. This bayonet is in super condition with a near mint blade, excellent bluing, perfect edge and point, no signs of sharpening, but minor damage to the top rib as can be seen, looks like a chip out of the steel. Very good bakelite grips and complete bluing on pommel, crossguard and flashguard. The scabbard is in equally good condition, unmarked like the bayonet, no dents worth mentioning, rivetted throat. A great addition to any K98 export rifle, but will fit any Wehrmacht K98.
