Mauser K98 bayonet and scabbard, unmarked except maker WKC, export model **ON HOLD**

This is the model 1884/98 III  bayonet for the WW2 German Mauser K98 infantry rifle. Marked on the ricasso with the maker W.K.C. for Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Company, but no serial number or Waffenamt stamps, so most likely one destined for export. This bayonet is in super condition with a near mint blade, most of it's bluing, excellent edge and point, and no signs of sharpening. Very good bakelite grips and complete bluing on pommel, crossguard and flashguard. The scabbard is in equally good condition, unmarked like the bayonet, a couple of dents on one side. A great addition to any K98 export rifle, but will fit any Wehrmacht K98.
