This is the model 1884/98 III  bayonet for the WW2 German Mauser K98 infantry rifle . Marked 44 cqh on the ricasso for the year and maker, Clemen & Jung, Solingen, this bayonet is in very good sound condition. The blade has a very good edge and point and all of it's blued finish. Small chip to the corner of the left grip only. Nazi Waffenamt stamps on the pommel and tang, and near perfect bluing to the steel.  The scabbard is in very good condition, one small dent near the frog-stud, marked clc 44,  Waffenamt stamped on the finial. A great addition to any K98 rifle.
