World War 2 bayonets and Knives
This is the model 1884/98 III bayonet for the WW2 German Mauser K98 infantry rifle. Marked ab44 on the ricasso and scabbard for the year and maker, Mundlos AG, with matching serial number of 4209g. This bayonet is in very good condition overall, the blade has a perfect edge and point with all of it's blacked finish. The waffenamt stamped pommel, flashguard and crossguard are nicely blacked too with no corrosion, very good late war reddish brown plastic grips and release button, and similarly finished undented scabbard. Waffenamt stamped on the finial. A very nice addition to any K98 rifle.Our price: £245.00 |
