World War 2 bayonets and Knives
This is the model 1884/98 III bayonet for the WW2 German Mauser K98 infantry rifle. Marked fze 44 for F.W.Holler and 6561a on the ricassos and scabbard mouth, this bayonet is in excellent condition. The blade has a perfect edge and point with super blacking, possible factory reworked. Very good late war dark red bakolite grips and all of blacking to Waffenamt stamped pommel, crossguard and flashguard. The scabbard is in equally good condition with no dents and nearly all of it's blacking, no corrosion. Waffenamt stamped on the finial. Fitted into very good original leather frog with perfect rivets and stitching. A great addition to any K98 rifle.
