Mauser K98 bayonet and scabbard, 41 crs, matching serial numbers **SOLD**

This is the model 1884/98 III  bayonet for the WW2 German Mauser K98 infantry rifle. Marked 41crs, for Paul Weyersberg of Solingen, who made these bayonets from 1934 till 1945, and serial number 7380 on the ricassos. Same markings on the scabbard lip. This bayonet is in super condition. The blade retains nearly all it's original blacked finish but has a couple of rust pits on one side. Excellent edge and tip, no sharpening or dressing. Very good bakolite grips and near perfect blacking to waffenamt stamped pommel, crossguard and flashguard. Similar finish to the scabbard, which has one very shallow dent opposite the frogstud. Waffenamt stamped on the finial.  A great addition to any K98 rifle.
