Israeli IDF issue K98 bayonet SOLD

This is a german Nazi period bayonet, adapted with full muzzle ring for use by the Israelis on their K98 rifles that equipped the IDF in the post war years. The bayonet is dated 40 on the spine of the blade, and S/172 on the ricasso for Carl Eickhorn of Solingen. The pommel is marked with the Israeli Star of David and the IDF property marks, plus Waffenamp stamps to end of pommel and release button. This particular example is in super condition with very good blade, retaining most of it's blacked finish throughout, and very good plastic grips. An unusual bayonet that will of course fit any K98 rifle.
