Inert PG-9 HEAT rocket propelled grenade, training projectile

This is the impressive PG-9 High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT) projectile, fired from the 73mm SPG-9 light recoiless gun, designed for infantry support. Developed by the Russians and brought into service in 1962, the PG-9 is a fin-stabilised, rocket assisted high explosive projectile, used in much the same purpose as the RPG-7, but due to it's weight is vehicle or tripod mounted and cannot be fired from the shoulder like the RPG-7. Unlike the PG-7, the PG-9 uses a small charge to fire it from the launcher, then after about 20m, a rocket ignites in the rear of the projectile, accelerating it to 700m per second with a range of 1.3km.
This example is a training projectile, totally inert and containing no dangerous materials. In excellent condition, it has the retractable vanes, and removeable dummy rocket pack at the rear, and measures a total of 88cm in length. Note the original string that holds the vanes in the closed position is not broken, so can be put back around the vanes if desired.

Comes with all original packaging as shown, but only one inert PG-15 initial charge.
