Inert 0.38 Special / 9x29mm R cartridge

This is an inert and totally safe .38 Special cartridge, or full name, the .38 Smith and Wesson Special, named after it's designers. More commonly abbreviated to .38 Spl, it is a rimmed, centerfire cartridge most commonly used in revolvers and some semi-automatic pistols and carbines. From the 1920s to the early 1990s, the .38 Special was the standard service cartridge of most police departments in the USA , and was also commonly used for sidearms carried by infantry officers during WW1. Outside of it's native USA it is known by it's metric size of 9 X 29mm R. Also available with a flat-top lead head.
