This is a Hungarian made Model 1888 N.C.O's bayonet, distinguished by the ring on the pommel for a knot and the curved quillon. In very nice condition with good 250mm blade showing just minor signs of corrosion, and good edge and point. Marked FG over GY on the ricasso and 6880L on the crossguard. Good complete wooden grips and release button. With good undented scabbard fitted into genuine leather frog. An unusual WW1 era bayonet in lovely condition.
