German WW2 Sudetenland Medal

This is a genuine WW2 issue Sudetenland medal, also called the 1st October 1938 medal, awarded to all members of the armed forces who participated in the 'liberation' of the Sudeten Germans in western Czechoslovakia where it bordered with Germany. Later war issue, made from a zinc like material with a good length of ribbon. Typical of these medals, the bronze 'wash' that was applied to give the medal it's colour tends to fade, but this example is still very good.
