German Luftwaffe dress dagger, Pattern 1937, 100% original **SOLD**
This is a complete and genuine Pattern 1937 German Luftwaffe officer's dress dagger. Super blade with maker's mark Alcoso of Solingen, which draws very nicely from the scabbard. Excellent clean blade with perfect edge and point. Excellent undamaged handle, no cracks, unusual plain wire twist, super detail to Nazi eagle on crossguard. Dull late war finish to crossguard and pommel. Excellent undented scabbard, though light corrosion toward end but no pitting. So many seem to have been shut in the car door!! but not this one. A very nice example of this sought-after dress dagger..
