World War 1 bayonets
This is the French T-back or T-section bayonet as fitted to the Gras M1874 rifle, unusually made at the Austrian Steyr factory. The blade is in very good clean condition, with very good edge and point. Marked on the spine with the Steyr armoury and a date of 1877, in french of course. Good wooden grips with brass pommel and sound working release button, OEWG marked. Very nice undented scabbard with excellent blacking. A very nice bayonet that is over 140 years old!
