This is a beautiful old hammer action sporting shotgun of side-by-side construction and under-lever breaking, made by W.W. Greener at his Birmingham works, and probably dating to the mid/late 1800s. Classic hardwood furniture with beautiful grain in very good condition, concidering it's age. Lightly engraved action showing an overall pleasant patina, also on the full 30 inch barrels. This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires with a very positive action, and can be fully stripped. There is a small decorative triangular piece of wood missing from the front of the handguard, but this could easily be repaired. Two inert 12 bore cartridges are included, with more available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each in a variety of colours. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
