This is the British Webley mark IV standard-issue service revolver with 5 inch barrel in 0.38 inch calibre, chambered for the .038/200 cartridge, made by Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham.  'B' prefix serial number dating it as manufactured between 1968 and 1970, these are the same as the WW2 issue side-arms. This example is in very good condition with precise action and breaks, cocks and dry fires, and can be fully stripped. Very good original blacking to the metalwork and undamaged grips. Matching serial numbers to frame and barrel. Comes with a lanyard and a couple of inert .38" cartridges to complete this classic British side arm. Deactivated in UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.
