Deactivated Webley mk4 3" service revolver 1943 made

This is the British Webley mark IV 'special-duties issue' revolver with 3 inch barrel in 0.38 inch calibre, chambered for the .038/200 cartridge, made by Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham.  The 'snub-nosed' mk4 was easier to conceal, or put in a pocket or bag, and so was issued to police and also special agents/SOE etc. Marked 'War Finish' on the side,  reflecting measures taken in manufacture to speed up production, it's numeric serial number identifies it as late 1943 manufactured. Current spec deactivation, so breaks and has trigger activated revolving chamber, but no dry-fire, though has benefit of free chambers so can be loaded with inert rounds. This revolver is in good condition with most of it's blacked finish remaining, no hinge wear and good original grips, with inspection and broad arrow stamps to the frame. One inert .38 cartridge is included to compliment this classic British side-arm.  Deactivated in UK with Certificate of Deactivation.

Our Price:  £495.00
