Deactivated Tokarev TT33 Russian made automatic pistol dated 1945 with holster **SOLD**

This is a deactivated Russian 7.62mm calibre TT33 pistol, designed by Fedor Tokarev in 1930.  Based loosely on the Browning M1911, it was developed initially as the TT30 to replace the ageing Nagant M1895 revolver. Further refinements to the design resulted in the TT33, which remained in production into the 1950s, being mainly issued to officers in the Red Army. This example is in very good condition, with good unrefurbished bluing, dated 1945 with Izhevsk Arsenal stamp, and excellent wooden grips. Characteristic wartime larger milled grips on the slide, and matching serial number to slide and frame.  Comes complete with tan good quality leather hoster in good 'used' condition with spare magazine in the holder and cleaning-rod,  making this a fabulous WW2 made pistol at an affordable price. Cocks and dry-fires with a precise action and capable of being fully field-stripped. Comes with 3 rounds of inert ammunition. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
