This is a Brazilian made Taurus model 85 double-action 5-shot revolver in .38 special calibre with 2" barrel. Built in beautiful solid stainless steel, polished to a mirror finish, and fitted with very confortable  Pachmayr custom grips, this is a very handsome revolver.  Taurus have been making high quality hand guns since WW2, and this example, based on the Smith and Wesson model 36, is in excellent condition, with a lovely tight and precise action, and comes complete with a sturdy Italian made leather clip-on holster. Able to be cocked and dry-fired, and field stripped, this revolver would compliment any collection of famous handguns. Deactivated in the UK to full UK specification with proof-house certificate. Inert rounds shown not included.
