Adopted in 1896, this is the 6.5mm caliber Mauser infantry rifle used by the Swedish military through WW1 and in variants up till 1944. Strongly resembling the German G98, this rifle is in lovely authentic condition. Dated 1905 on the breech below the Swedish crown and Carl Gustafs factory mark, this rifle has good original blacking, and the hardwood stock has only minor marks commensurate with it's age.  This rifle cocks and dry-fires with a precise action, and can be fully field stripped. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
