Deactivated Swedish Mauser M1896, 1901 dated, matching s/numbers, early spec **SOLD**

Adopted in 1896, this is the 6.5mm caliber Mauser infantry rifle used by the Swedish military through WW1 and in variants up till 1944. Strongly resembling the German G98, this rifle is in lovely authentic condition. Dated 1901 on the breech below the Swedish crown and Carl Gustafs factory mark, this rifle has good original blacking to the steel, and the lovely hardwood stock has only a couple of knocks and marks commensurate with it's age, complete with brass butt disc (for indicating barrel bore size). This rifle cocks and dry-fires with a precise action, and can be fully field stripped. Matching serial numbers to bolt, breech, rear band, floorplate and buttplate. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.

Our price: £595.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the UK.
