Deactivated Sterling MK4 L2A3 submachine gun 9mm, underfolding stock **SOLD**

The Sterling is the British Army's replacement for the Sten gun. This variant, the Mk4, or L2A3, was in use from the late 1950s up to the Gulf  War.  A nice clean example, with most of its original frosted black finish on the steel, this gun has an under-folding shoulder stock and detachable 'Sterling' marked magazine, and comes with a genuine sling and a couple of inert 9mm rounds to load into the magazine. This particular example has the benefit of still having all the visible portions of the original bolt present, and not a substituted steel sleeve, but has a fixed cocking handle with sprung trigger. Partial stripping is still possible as illustrated, with removal of the rear cap.  These Sterlings are getting harder to find now. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.

Our Price: £795.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the UK.
