Deactivated Sten mk2 9mm submachine gun, British made with sliding cocking-handle SOLD

This is the British Sten MK2 submachine gun brought into service in 1941. Historically this gun was known as the 'plumbers delight' and the 'stench gun'. Together with others,  this was one of the weapons that the UK developed  when faced with German invasion.  Over 4 million Stens were made and they served their purpose very well. This example is in very good condition, retaining nearly all its blacked finish, and has a moving trigger. Although a current spec deactivation, it has the benefit of a sliding and locking cocking handle, and furthermore it still retains it's original bolt which has not been replaced by a plain sleeve. With removable magazine and strut-type shoulder stock, as is typical of the British made weapons.  Can be fully stripped as shown, and comes with correct sling and 3 rounds of inert 9mm ammunition to complete the package.  Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to full UK specification.
