Deactivated Smith and Wesson model 10 'Victory' revolver, clear chambers
This is a 0.38" calibre Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver, developed in 1899. Described as the most successful handgun of all time, this was one of the standard side-arms of the British and Commonwealth forces during WW2 along with the Enfield no2 and Webley Mk4, supplied under the 'lend lease' agreement. These wartime models were known as Victory models, and as such has a V prefix to the serial number and is marked 'United States Property' with US inspection stamps by the lanyard ring. In very good authentic condition, this revolver features wooden hand grips in lovely complete condition and some of it's original blued finish. As a currect spec deactivation, this revolver will not cock and dry-fire, but the chamber will rotate with a pull of the trigger and it does have the benefit of free chambers. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.
Inert rounds are not included.
