Deactivated Smith & Wesson model 66 .357 Magnum revolver and holster **SOLD**

This is a Smith and Wesson model 66-4 double-action 6-shot revolver in .357 Magnum calibre. Built in beautiful solid stainless steel, polished to a mirror finish, and fitted with very comfortable Pachmayr custom grips, this is a very handsome revolver.  Produced from 1970 up until 2005, and basically a stainless steel version of the famous model 19 of 1957, in turn based on the .38 calibre model 10 of WW2 vintage, this revolver serves in military as well as police roles. This example is a model 66-4, a version built from 1994 till 1998, and is in excellent condition, with a lovely tight and precise action, and comes complete with a sturdy well-made belt holster in thick leather, as well as 6 inert .357 Magnum rounds with matching steel cases (brass cases available if preferred). Able to be cocked and dry-fired, and field stripped, this revolver would compliment any collection of famous handguns. Deactivated in the UK to full UK specification with proof-house certificate.
