Deactivated World War 1 rifles
| This is the Siamese Mauser Type 45 military rifle chambered for 8mm Siamese rimmed ammunition. Although stamped on the receiver with the Siamese 'Charkra' (similar to the Japanese 'Mum') above the model type, written in Siamese, these rifles were made in Japan under contract at the Tokyo Arsenal. The Tokyo Arsenal stamp is evident on the right side of the breech. Typically, the stock is of the two-part type as seen on the Arisaka rifle, and is in good overall condition with just the knocks of a service rifle. Most of the blacking to the steel is still present, plus the often missing dust shield on the breech. Able to be cocked and dry-fired, and fully field stripped. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation. Our Price: £795.00 |
| Deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the UK. |
