This is the standard infantry rifle of the Red Army during WW1, the Mosin-Nagant model 1891, This example was made under contract by New England Westinghouse in the USA, and dated 1915 on the receiver. Also marked with the Finnish property stamp of SA in a box. In good original unrefurbished condition with good sound hardwood stock, most of the original blacking to the metalwork with matching serial numbers to breech and bolt. Comes with original cleaning rod and a full clip of five inert 7.62mm rounds to load into the internal magazine. This rifle cocks and dry fires and is fully strippable. A lovely rare and original item. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.
