Deactivated Russian PPS-43 sub machine-gun 1944 dated

Deactivated Russian PPS-43 sub machine-gun 1944 dated

This is the Soviet Russian PPS-43 used by the Red Army, created in response to a requirement for a compact and lightweight weapon that would provide similar accuracy and firepower, while being cheaper to produce than the PPSh-41 submachine gun being widely used at the time. Chambering the same 7.62 x 25mm round, it was initialy developed as the PPS-42. It was further refined into the PPS-43 and mass produced in this form, and continued to be built until 1968 and is still in use to this day. In very good condition with near perfect bluing, this 1944 dated smg was built at the Stalin Plant and features a top-folding stock, has a detachable magazine, sliding sprung bolt, operational safety and fixed trigger. Comes complete with a postwar sling and a couple of inert rounds to load into the magazine as shown. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.

Our Price: £445.00
