Deactivated Russian Mosin-Nagant M38 carbine 1943 dated **SOLD**

The Mosin-Nagant M1938 or M38 infantry carbine is the rifle that was introduced in 1938 to replace the M1891/30 'long' rifle in 1938. Dated 1943 on the breech along with the Russian Hammer & Sickle mark and the Izhevsk Arsenal stamp. This is an arsenal  refurbished example with very nice laquered solid wood stock, and of particular importance, a proper M38 stock without the bayonet cut-out on the right-hand side. Many refurbished carbines were built into the M44 stock. Excellent blacked steel with all matched serial numbers. Capable of being cocked and dry-fired, and fully stripped, including bolt, this rifle comes complete with the correct sling and cleaning rod.  An inexpensive WW2  infantry rifle in good condition, and getting very hard to find now. The inert cartridges shown are not included but are available separately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered together. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.

Our Price: £195.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
