Deactivated Russian made Kalashnikov AK47 assault rifle, milled receiver
This is a Russian made 7.62mm calibre Kalashnikov AK47 assault rifle, with the early milled receiver, not to be confused with the later AKM with, amongst other modifications, a pressed steel receiver. Marked with the Tula Arsenal mark of a star on the left side of the receiver, this example is in very good condition with very good undamaged woodwork and good blacking to the steel, with fully sprung trigger and detachable magazine. Some amount of stripping is possible with the removal of the matched serial numbered rear cover and cover latch, plus parts around the gas port. This rifle comes complete with cleaning-rod, detachable steel magazine, genuine sling, plus a couple of inert 7.62mm rounds to load into the magazine. Also included is a genuine cleaning kit that stows in the butt, and plastic oiler bottle (not shown). Very nice example of this world renowned assault rifle. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.
