Deactivated Russian made Baikal 'over-and-under' shotgun **SOLD**
This is a Russian Baikal 12-bore shotgun of 'over and under' design, named after the Baikal Forest in Siberia. Manufactured at Izhevsk in the Urals, renowned for making millions of Mosin rifles and other arms during WW2, the Baikal is a rugged and reliable shotgun, absolutely typical of the weaponry associated with the Soviet Union. This particular example is in very good condition with hardwood stock and handguard, the former having an integral cheekpiece. Good blacking to the lightly engraved action and barrels. Not marked with a model number, only 'Made in USSR' forward of the trigger guard. Deactivated to the latest spec, this shotgun breaks with sprung twin triggers and functional safety but no dry-fire, though will still make a great display piece. Comes complete with two inert 12g cartridges. Deactivated in the UK to UK/EU specification with Proof House certificate.
