Deactivated Russian made Baikal NX-27E 'over-and-under' shotgun **SOLD**
This is a Russian Baikal NX-27E 12-bore shotgun of 'over and under' design, named after the Baikal Forest in Siberia. Manufactured at Izhevsk in the Urals, renowned for making millions of Mosin rifles and other arms during WW2, the Baikal is a rugged and reliable shotgun, absolutely typical of the weaponry associated with the Soviet Union. This particular example is in good condition with hardwood stock and handguard, and very good blacking to the engraved action and 26 barrels. Marked NX (using Russian letters) 27E on the underside, with 'Made in USSR'. Deactivated to the latest spec, this shotgun only breaks with sprung twin triggers but no dry-fire, though will still make a great display piece. Comes complete with two inert 12g cartridges.
