Deactivated Russian made Baikal model IJ-15 20-bore/ .22 shotgun/rifle with scope **SOLD**

This is the Russian Baikal model IJ-15 dual purpose shotgun/sporting rifle. Named after the Baikal Forest in Siberia, this weapon in manufactured at Izhevsk in the Urals, renowned for making millions of Mosin rifles and other arms during WW2. The Baikal is a rugged and reliable gun, absolutely typical of the weaponry associated with the Soviet Union. This particular example, of over-and-under design, is a 20-bore shotgun on the top barrel, and a .22 calibre rifle on the bottom barrel, hence the provision of optical mounts. In very good condition with unmarked hardwood stock, and lightly engraved action, this gun is fitted with russian made 4X optics with 3-point reticule, in perfect condition. Comes complete with two inert 20g cartridges. Deactivated in the UK to UK specification with Proof House certificate.
