This is the Russian Baikal 12-bore shotgun, named after the Baikal Forest in Siberia. Manufactured at Izhevsk in the Urals, renowned for making millions of Mosin rifles and other arms during WW2, the Baikal is a rugged and reliable shotgun, absolutely typical of the weaponry associated with the Soviet Union. This particular example, of over-and-under design, is in very good condition with unmarked hardwood stock, and minimally engraved action showing a pleasant patina. Comes complete with two inert 12g cartridges. Deactivated in the UK to UK specification with Proof House certificate.
