Deactivated R. Ramsbottom 12-bore hammer shotgun **SOLD**
This is a double-barrelled hammer action shotgun of side-by-side construction with top-lever breaking and full 30 inch barrels, made by R. Ramsbottom, of Manchester. This example is in super condition, with cross-hatched hardwood rear and forestock, and intricately and extensively engraved metalwork showing hunting scenes, with maker's name engraved between the barrels, which still retain 99% of their blacked finish. This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires with a very precise action on both barrels and can be fully stripped. A fabulous addition to anybody's hunting lodge, mounted over the fireplace! Two inert cartridges are included to compliment this classic vintage hunting shotgun. More are available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered together. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
