This is the Russian built Shpagin Machine Pistol, or PPSh-41, dated 1944 below the Russian factory mark of 3 in a circle, and in very good condition with near perfect blacked finish to the steel and nicely grained  solid wood stock. Matching serial numbers to breech, barrel, tang, trigger guard and stock.  This was one of the most mass produced submachine guns of WW2, and was also very  popular with German forces, who used captured weapons. Designed to chamber the 7.62 x 25mm round, one of these inert rounds are included to load into the 71-round magazine (you can only see one) to 'complete' this classic WW2 weapon.  This example has a sliding cocking handle attached to the rear portion of the bolt, full movement of the trigger and removeable drum magazine, and also comes with sling. Field strippable as shown. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.
