Deactivated Portuguese Mauser model 904/M37 rifle, all matched s/numbers

This is the Portuguese Model 904/M37 'short' rifle, which was a conversion made to the Model 1904 Mauser-Vergueiro 'long' WW1 era rifle, to make it conform more with the modern Mausers of the 1930s. This envolved  conversion from 6.5mm calibre to the German 7.92mm calibre,  a shortening of the barrel and forestock and sights modifications. The markings on the receiver did not change. This particular example of this unusual rifle is in super original condition, with lovely hardwood stock with cartouched butt, good original bluing,  and matching serial numbers to receiver, bolt and trigger guard/floorplate and stock. Comes complete with original cleaning rod and correct style leather sling (not shown), and one full clip of 7.92mm inert ammunition is also included. Deactivated in the UK with certificate to UK/EU specification.

Our Price: £325.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the EU.
