Deactivated Polish PPS-43 sub-machine gun kit 1954 dated

This is the Polish built copy of the Soviet Russian PPS-43 used by the Red Army. Initally created to meet a need for a cheap, compact and lightweight weapon that would provide similar accuracy and firepower as the PPSh-41 submachine gun being widely used at the time, and chambering the same 7.62 x 25mm round. Soviet production ceased in 1946, but derivatives continued to be built until 1968, and it is still in use to this day. This example in the PPS wz. 1943/1952, dated 1954 (though identical to the wartime models) and marked '53' for the Wifama Lodz factory in Poland.

In very good condition with perfect bluing and complete undamaged grips, this smg is a current spec deactivation, with moving trigger and functional safety lever, and fully sliding cocking-handle with bolt. Featuring a top-folding stock, it can be 'broken' as shown with a detachable magazine. Complete with correct sling, cleaning kit and 3 spare magazines in a pouch as shown, plus an inert round to load into the mag. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate of Deactivation to UK/EU spec.

Please note: there might be minor variations in the sling and pouch as we have several sets, but all are in as-new condition.
