Deactivated Polish PPS-43 sub-machine gun 1953 dated SOLD

This is the Polish built copy of the Soviet Russian PPS-43 used by the Red Army. Initally created to meet a need for a cheap, compact and lightweight weapon that would provide similar accuracy and firepower as the PPSh-41 submachine gun being widely used at the time. Chambering the same 7.62 x 25mm round, it was initialy developed as the PPS-42 and then further refined into the PPS-43 and mass produced in this form. Soviet production ceased in 1946, but derivatives continued to be built until 1968, and it is still in use to this day. This example in the PPS wz. 1943/1952, dated 1953 (though identical to the wartime models) and marked '53' for the Wifama Lodz factory, Poland. In very good condition with near perfect bluing and complete undamaged grips, this smg is a current spec deactivation, featuring a top-folding stock, and can be 'broken' as shown with a detachable magazine. Complete with leather sling and 3 inert rounds. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.

Our Price: £195.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal in the UK.
