Deactivated Mauser Model 1895 rifle, DWM made **SOLD**
This is the Mauser M1895 rifle, chambered for a 7 x 57mm cartridge and made by Ludwig Loewe up till 1896, then by DWM, Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken, till 1900. One of the most popular exports from imperial Germany before WW1, included in orders made by the South African Republic just before the Boer War of 1899-1901. This example is in good sound and complete condition for it's age, with hardwood stock showing just the normal knocks, and the steel shows a pleasant patina with no pitting, and comes complete with leather sling and original cleaning rod. Able to be field stripped, with working bolt-action. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.
