This is a British-built Lee-Enfield rifle no.4 mk2 made at the Royal Ordnance Factory at Fazakerley in Lancashire, and dated 10/49 on the receiver. The mark2 was a post-WW2 manufactured weapon, and was perhaps the pinacle of bolt-action rifle technology in an era of automatic weapons, making a superb sniper or sharp-shooter's rifle. In super authentic condition with excellent woodwork and perfect blacking, this example is equipped with the Parker-Hale 4651A sight system. Matching serial number on the bolt, this beautiful rifle has a brass butt plate and detachable magazine, and comes complete with Parker-Hale webbing sling. This rifle can be cocked and dry-fired and fully field stripped. The magazine can be loaded, but rounds cannot be chambered. The inert .303 ammunition shown is not included, but is available in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 per round, post free if ordered together. Deactivated with certificate in the UK to UK specification.
Our price: £425.00
